Events / News
New and Updated equipment
A complete set of airbags have been purchased to
replace the set that has been used for 20 + years. The new bags are very
similar, but with minor changes in construction making them much more efficient.
Also purchased was a set of stabilization screw jacks,
which also have lifting capabilities. Thanks to Meier Towing for providing a
training area and vehicles for practice..
Moville Fire recently purchased DVD's called "
Fire Is" through a safety grant. Copies for the public are located at the Woodbury County
Library, Fire Station, and Woodbury Central School.
Through a grant written by firefighter Jerry
Sailer, the dept was able to purchase 12 mobile radios to aid in communication,
a commercial turnout gear clothes washer, and a cascade, air pak loading system.
These will help make our dept stronger and better equipped for the future.
